We are a Bio Intensive regenerative small farm with a focus on specialty Market Produce. We are known for our "Zesty" Greens Mix that can be found at TRFM, Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, Topsoil Restaurant, among other local Grocery and Fine Dining Restaurants. You can find us seasonally, vending an array of chemical free produce at our local Farmers Market in Travelers Rest, SC. We offer a CSA program where our customers can invest ahead of the season to guarantee their portion of our harvest each week throughout the year before we bring it to market. A great way to ensure you receive those very first squash and tomatoes of the season! We are proud to grow from seed and offer the freshest and cleanest fruits and vegetables to our community free of harsh pesticides, chemicals and without the carbon footprint attached to it. We offer consultation and design/installation services related to edible landscaping, market gardening, animal husbandry, etc
We are happy to announce you can now place your orders online as well as stay up to date with what's in season here at the Feather Creek Farmstead!
When it all started in 2017, growing our food quickly became our passion. Whenever my wife and I started dating, one of our favorite date nights quickly became a “blue apron.” Quickly, we were introduced to foods and flavors out of this world and were inspired to recreate the dishes. Excitement quickly turned to frustration as we discovered that most unique seasonal produce options were unavailable near us. So, we had an idea. We heard about a community garden in our area, and we rented two plots beside each other and began to grow. We soon learned to can and preserve, thus enjoying freshly harvested produce throughout the year. After only hearing stories of our grandparent’s generation surviving this way, most of what they had learned have been forgotten. We set out on a mission to learn the “old ways” of Homesteading. Before we knew it, we bought a Farm and got Married! Fast forward to 2023. We now ethically raise and process almost all the meat and produce we consume within 150 yards of our table. Over the years, we have experimented with several different systems of raising Rabbits, Quail, Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Ducks, and Geese.
We continue to pasture-raise broiler Chickens and Pork for ourselves and family members and have a few Egg Layers, Ducks, and a guardian Goose. Our farm production has quickly narrowed itself down to seasonally grown market vegetables that we offer to restaurants, grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and our CSA—as well as fruit trees, vegetable starters, and other nursery perennials. We practice chemical-free, regenerative farming techniques. Our poultry is pasture-raised because rotational grazing livestock can regenerate soil through natural fertilizer and a cover crop system. Our hens do not have access to supplemental feed during the day, which encourages them to go out and forage for food. Our chickens are free-range. They enjoy roaming the pastures, eating insects, scratching at the dirt, and bathing in the sun for some extra vitamin D. Our pastured broilers are antibiotic and hormone-free. All our poultry are processed on our farm, with 0-waste processing in the most humane and sanitary way. We have learned to use every part of the bird. We are continuously expanding our orchard, adding various edible varieties, and layering them in wherever possible. When we moved here, we were blessed with over a dozen mature rabbit-eye blueberry bushes that yield enough berries to share with our community. We spend countless hours throughout the summer harvesting our fresh produce to can and preserve for the winter months to come. It is incredible to pull out a fresh jar of spaghetti, marinara, jam, beans etc., that you grew yourself, harvested, and preserved. Our mission is to inspire, educate and motivate others in our community to take the leap into living more self sustainably. Which is why our slogan is “Let’s Grow Together”!

Our chickens are free range. They enjoy roaming the pastures eating insects, scratching at the dirt, and bathing in the sun for some extra vitamin D. We provide pastured broilers in warmer months. These young chickens are harvested in 8-10 short weeks and are antibiotic and hormone free. All of our poultry are processed on our farm, with 0-waste processing in the most humane and sanitary way. We have learned to use every part of the bird.

We raise Nubian Dairy Goats because they are a great dual purpose goat with a mild temper personality. Their milk is really high in fat, great for cheeses and soaps! The creek that runs along the base of our property nourishes a lush habitat of vegetation for them to graze on.
It is a passion of ours not only to grow the most delicious and freshest produce but also to can and preserve it all to enjoy throughout the year. We make some of the best blueberry jam you've never tried!
Whether it be fresh herbs, dried spices, pasture raised eggs, fresh harvested produce, and handcrafted jams and Goats Milk Soaps, Feather Creek Farmstead can provide you with all the local goodness.
We happily welcomed our first child in 2021, our second child in 2023
